- The use of Temcell® pulp in the middle layer uses less trees. Only 2,000 lb (907 kg) of wood is required to produce 1,900 lb (862 kg) of Temcell® Pulp.
- Temcell® pulp is a high yield fiber produced by a chlorine-free process and does not discharge organochlorides to the environment.
- Kraft pulps used in the Tembec Paperboard Group’s paperboard are produced without elemental chlorine.
- All pulps used by Tembec Paperboard Group contain no detectable level of dioxins and are, therefore, safe for use in sensitive areas, such as food packaging.
